Apologies Pedro if I'm being dense, but how could a user-application breakpoint
disable the entire OS? I've debugged application event-handlers for decades
(mostly on Windows) and never seen this kind of problem?
Debugging this application worked as expected for months, then mysteriously
stopped working (possibly because of an applied tool-chain update) - this would
seem to indicate a bug?
