I am unable to reproduce this problem with gdb 6.8 using DWARF-2. I can only
assume that this has been fixed. FWIW, it appears that the recommended patch is
already being used (in check_field).
If this is still a problem with a newer gdb, please feel free to re-open this
bug or submit a new one.
