[Bug build/10685] Problem Installing 6.8. After ./configure, tried to make GDB 6.8, then gave me error : no termcap library found. Working on ubuntu.

It sounds like you are missing some build dependencies,
probably something like ncurses-dev or ncurses-devel
(I'm not an Ubuntu user, so I don't know the correct name.)
Can you check that?
