I just tried with with gdb 5.3.90-0.20030710.40rh and with a gdb 6.0
that I built and this problem appears to be fixed in both versions.
Should we close this defect?
The most recent I can quickly find is gdb 5.2-2 and it still fails
there. If the compilation produces MLX instructions as in the test
case, and the breakpoint gets hit, and correct data arrives
post-breakpoint, then sure, close it.
