If a register variable lives in multiple registers, gdb prints random values for the second and succeeding registers.

I consider this 'severity=critical' because gdb prints incorrect data, and 'priority=high' based on a message from Stephane Carrez that this is a "*critical*" problem on target HC11, which has 16-bit registers, so it has a lot of multi-register variables.  It's not that high priority for native i686-pc-linux-gnu because we don't get many multi-register variables.

I've attached a tarball with a source file, an executable file, a typescript, and a README with a little analysis in it.

>Fix:
If the debug information is not enough to find registers 2-N of a multi-register variable, please consider printing "<unknown>" rather than a heuristic value.  Incorrect heuristics are deadly in this context -- printing an incorrect value is one of the worst things a debugger can do.
