Not really as part of the GDB manual, no.  The simulators should
have a main free-standing manual.  I'm considering some day
taking a decision to add that to my todo-list. :-)
(I might delegate it.)

Naturally there should be a GDB chapter about the GDB-specific
thingies connecting with a simulator but I see there's already a
lot more than I knew there.  (Heh, "target sim", wow.)
