[This follow up thread is only going to gdb-patches]
FYI, this is likely going to go onto the branch. A minor variation has
been in use for some time when building the GDB snapshots. The
differences were: rename md5 -> md5.sum; remove prototype code for
updating fnchange.lst.
Once a clean solution to the fnchange.lst is had, that can be easily
added.
