Emacs 20.5 uses the latter (which is TRT, IMHO).
And while at that: perhaps it's a good idea to upgrade to Emacs 20 to
get uniform format of the date entries in the ChangeLog's, if not for
other good reasons (speed, features, etc.). You aren't scared by the
Mule-hate, are you?
