Sounds like you are hitting a bug, but I don't know what the problem
is.

The coff-go32 should be defined by compiling bfd/coff-go32.c.  That
should be included if go32coff_vec is in the list of supported
targets.  go32coff_vec is the default target for the i386-go32
configuration.
