One last question. I don't see the tag appear remotely.
And if I do a fresh clone it also isn't there. But locally
I can do:
$ git tag -v elfutils-0.153
object 62f4c7bc236015c168c692776551b7dcf50fff66
type commit
tag elfutils-0.153
tagger Mark J. Wielaard <mjw@redhat.com> 1329996903 +0100
Prepare 0.153 release.
