Actually, I submitted a patch in January for the AT91's timer_pit.c.
It was equally simplistic.
It is simple enough that we don't need a copyright assignment.

Please could you provide a ChangeLog entry as part of the patch.

Is there any documentation for this kind of submission? I didn't see
any specifics in the FAQ.
