- Subject: [ECOS] eCos Memory layout
Hi
I am using redboot + eCos + SH7729 evaluation board. I have some confusion regarding memory layout.
In configuration tool SH architecture -> Memory layout sub-option is gray.
So from where the SH linker get the input of start RAM address (as RAM startup type). If you go through "mlt_sh_sh77x9_se77x9_ram.ldi "file ,it is commented
// This is a generated file - do not edit
similarly in "mlt_sh_sh77x9_se77x9_ram.h". So how user can change the memory layout if he wants to change.
And even though if you select the STARTUP TYPE : RAM ,your eCos folder will have both RAM and ROM .mlt files.
Pl suggests and guides me to overcome this.
Thanx
With regards
