Well, I have gcc 3.3.3 and a binutils 2.14 -- don't know about the rest
of the number up and running.

I've successfully compiled everything except that pesly cxxsupp.cxx,
which still quits with: undefined reference to `operator new(unsigned)',
so I've just commented cxxsupp.cxx out of the makefile for now.

Flagging a warning of this to others as a possible problem might be
good.

Now let's see if I can use it ;-)
