Re: Porting eCos on Intel XScale PXA255

 Hi,
I am just starting work on porting eCos on Intel XScale PXA255 based
Customized board for our application. Has anyone ported eCos to the Intel
XScale PXA255 based platform?

If so please through me some lights on good starting point on eCos porting.

I have already gone through some porting guidelines. Also I have installed
the eCos in my system as per the downloading and Installation guide given in
the following link for Windows based development.
http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/tools/win-i386-elf.html

I am having problem in invoking GNUPro Tool Kit. For an example,

If I try to invoke "arm-elf-gcc" in the bash shell then I received the
message like "bash: arm-elf-gcc: command not found".

I think, I have to set some environment Variables but I do not know how to
do it. I am totally new to this GNU based development environment. If anyone
comes across this problem please give me some guidelines on the same.

Also teach me how to invoke XScale GNUPro Tool kit through set up.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,

Vinayagam.M
