Dear all,
I have problem with getting redboot to run with my x86 pc. I follow the instructions in the redboot user guide. That is
1. formatted floppy disk using fdformat -n /dev/fd0H1440
2.$ dd conv=sync if=install/bin/redboot.bin of=/dev/fd0H1440
I have downloaded the x86 redboot binaries from http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/boards/redbootbins/x86pc/
redboot.bin (80 Kbytes)
redboot.elf (500 Kbytes)
When I boot up the pc, it did found the boot record from floppy but after that it gives:
.....................AC2!
and nothing happens after that. I tried to connect from host (Pentium 4 running RedHat Linux 8.0) to the x86 pc using i386-elf-insight but unsuccessful
Sincerely
Tengku Ahmad Hafizi
