- Subject: [ECOS] Prblem with Ethernet Speed in eCos
Dear Sir,
I am using eCos for MPC860.
I have configured SCC1 as Ethernet (10Mbps).
What I am observing that effective bandwidth
(with UDP protocol)
between this board (having MPC with eCos) and
other machine (Linux based Pentium) never exceed
1 Mbps. I need at least 2 to 2.5 Mbit per sec.
I have changed number of BDs being used by SCC.
>From 4 BDs to 32 BDs, I observed slight 1-2%
performance improvement. I have sufficient
CYGPKG_NET_MEM_USAGE (512 K of FSRAM) area.
Kindly tell me, what else I can try out for
increasing the speed of Ethernet link.
Thanks & Regards
Prabal.
