RE: [ECOS] eCos 1.3.1 to eCos2 problems

I've been using gcc 3.0.3 since it came out on an arm7 core with basically no problems. I have a much older snapshot of ecos, and when i tried to update from that to the last rhepl version i started getting the random crashes - no assertions showed up (yes i had kernel assertions enabled), my boards just stopped working.

So, i've stuck with the older ecos snapshot. gcc 3x has better code generation for arm, which i happen to need for now.

Yep - I can vouch that the GCC3 versions do not work worth beans on eCos for
ARM - at least not for the StrongARM builds.  It doesn't get anywhere close
to all the way through compilation of eCos...
