Can be done. What it's needed is:
- first partition (RedBoot) must be a primary one. (use fdisk to partition
the disk).
- create a standard DOS MBR using fdisk /MBR.
- To build a suitable RedBoot use the RedBootDOC patch from
<http://www.vsr.si/ecos>. Follow the standard PC RedBoot build procedure, but
instead of HAL_STARTUP_FLOPPY use the HAL_STARTUP_DISK CDL option.
- Finally do a "dd conv=sync if=redboot.bin of= /dev/<yourdisk>1"
