But the redboot can printf a line of '........................' on the screen,if the baut is incrrect it can't handle this!

>Just check the baut rate setting if you are using hyperterminal or any such thing as your prompt. I would suggest you to redirect it to hyperterminal, since we have faced the same problem. But be sure of the baud rate settings.
