Last time I tried this I was compiling for a linux synthetic, and I could use the linux binutils.
This weekend I recompiled the whole lot for the ARM with cygwin as a host.
Just download and installed cygwin and applied the ./configure and make commands,
so this should work right out of the box. Just make sure that you make no typo's in stuff
like the --exe-prefix since this might leave you wondering what happens during compilation of gcc ...
