No.
The person who sent the message probably hit "reply all". The reason for
this is due to religious issues mandating list headers that prevent a
simple "reply" in most common/popular mail software from replying to the
list itself; instead, it would reply to the poster privately. So most of us
on the list hit "reply all" for convenience and thereby generate two or
more messages.
