After opening the ecos configtool, just click on the "+" to open "ecos Hal"
and then open "Platform independent HAL options" and the tool will enter an
infinite loop with the scroll bar on the pane going up and down forever.
If you click on the configtool main window, this proccess will stop but the
tool will hang.
This was previously reported by Hans Kester (bug 1000073).

This problem was also observed with an older version of the configtool and
while opening options other the the HAL options.
