Clean install of eCos 2.0 on WinXP...
Start the config tool, go to Build->Packages, scroll to bottom of left pane and
select zlib compress/decompress support and click Add. Click OK and accept the
change. Now go to Build->Packages again and remove the math library from the
pane on the right. Boom! Configtool disappears in a puff of crash.
It appears to me that any two separate Build->Packages changes crash the config
tool.
For extra yucks... add the zlib package, and hit ok. Now go back in and remove
the zlib package. This does appear to work! But now go to Build->Packages
again... it thinks zlib is still in the configuration! And if you try and remove
it (again) the configtool crashes.
