This is a last minute option we had to add for our TX39 release to get around 
a problem thrown up by eCos QA.  It should be documented in the next release. 
We have added text to the README for this, but Hugo can give you full details 
of the option.

 Just to log what we discussed: and so it should remain.  This only has CDL
 to provide an easy way to turn it off, in 1.2.1, should problems ensue.
 I will check the same change into the trunk but without the CDL so that it
 is enabled always.  (Now that we've debugged the change)
