In general, the proposal looks good to me. I have just one little nit to
pick. Would people mind changing the DW_TAG_subunit tag to something else?
I've always been very pleased with how closely the DW_TAG_compile_unit tag
corresponded to the Ada notion of a "compilation unit". Especially with our
compilation model, it's a very close fit.
But your description of a subunit is totally different from Ada's notion of a
subunit. I'm just worried that there might be confusion between the two
definitions in the future.
The best recommendation I can think of now is DW_TAG_private_unit. But I'm
not married to that name, if someone has a better idea.
