[docbook] -V nochunks don't work

Dear friends,
This command works and converts the sgml file to many html pages.
bash-2.05a$ openjade -t sgml -d
/usr/local/sgml/dsssl/docbook-dsssl-1.76/html/docbook.dsl test.sgml

openjade:test.sgml:15:19:E: document type does not allow element "REVHISTORY"
here; missing one of "COMMENT", "TITLEABBREV", "SUBTITLE", "ARTHEADER",

But when I use the option -V nochunks it don't produce html files. Why?
Any suggestion?
