RE: "SYSTEM" specification required

Norm, WordPerfect's implementation of XML is not 100% according to the
standard at this time. It is essentially SGML. I'm not convinced it would
locate a system ID specified in the DTD. I will try to find the time to
install WP9 and see if I can compile DocBook 4 beta. When I compiled DocBook
3.1, WP crashed. At least if it gives error messages (instead of crashing) I
can try to work around the problems ;-) The sad thing is that the later beta
versions of WP9 compiled DocBook fine. The production version appears to
have problems with it :~(

By the way, Epic 3 also requires all of the public IDs used by DocBook to be
in the catalog. I compiled DocBook 4 beta as XML, and still got errors
whenever an undeclared public ID was encountered. I had to add them all to
the catalog to get Epic to compile the DTD. I am using the beta DTD for
production (not a major risk, since I don't use most of the new features,
and we don't interchange sources with anybody).

Cheers, Gershon.

But dbnotnx.mod is the system identifier! Looks like a WordPerfect bug.
