Oh dear. 'use.id.as.filename' IS set to 1.
The person who originally made the customization layer unfortunately
didn't quite grasp the idea of customization and edited several files
instead of just one and now I will have to sift through quite a few
of them to find the problem (that person has moved on two years ago).
Well, I had to do this eventually, as I have already noticed that
newer than 1.65.1 versions break the customization. (sigh)
