Colin,
Just a suggestion: why not post a sample document which produces the
error? That way the PassiveTeX users on this list (including myself) can
attempt to replicate the problem.
Some other tips that I have found useful:
- Try validating your document against the DTD using OpenSP (or
equivalent).
- Find the smallest possible document which will replicate the problem.
This should be the document you post to the list!
- Ditto for the driver file.
- Do the PassiveTeX test files work? (mine are in
/usr/share/texmf.local/tex/xmltex/passivetex/test/)
