Yes, it's a known issue. Tim said he'd look into it, since I
don't have any redhat systems. I hear you can get around it by using
egcs-g++ or whatever the compat name for the older compiler is. It's
not purely a gcc issue I don't think since it compiles ok with Debian
gcc/g++ 2.95.3.
