Could you be more specific about the problem?
I just processed a Docbook 4.1.2 document containing
<authorblurb> using the Xalan-J 1.2.2 XSL processor and
the Docbook XSL 1.25 stylesheets, and I got no errors.
However, when <authorblurb> is contained in <biblioentry>, its
output is "suppressed" according the the stylesheet.
When it is contained in a <bibliomixed> entry, the
authorblurb is displayed. According to the DocBook
Definitive Guide, a <biblioentry> is a "database of
named fields" and suppressed some entries. The
<bibliomixed> element is supposed to output all
of its content. Which container were you using?
