RE: Using DocBook 4.1 with FrameMaker+SGML 6.x


FM+SGML cannot import XML; it only imports SGML. The current version has an
XML export feature (well-formed only), but no import. The parser is the
several-years-old sgmls, and replacing that parser with a newer version that
handles XML would require more effort than Adobe is willing to do for that
product.
