I've read both of your messages (please just send one) and I don't see
a description of the problem.

Ditto. I see printfs with "cygwin:" added but no explanation of
the problem.
Rather than focusing on capturing random bits of output you need to send
one (1) mail message with a description of the problem. Read
http://cygwin.com/problems.html and try, unlike 99% of the people here,
to comprehend that it is more than a page which says "attach cygcheck
output" to your bug reports. In particular, pay attention to the link:

The goal here is to make it as easy as possible for someone to help
you.
