Hi,

We are experiencing problems in using Cygwin on Windows Vista. I wanted to
know if Cygwin support for Vista is being worked on and if there is a beta
client available for use. It seems like process spawning from Cygwin
inside Vista does not work.

Heh, tell you what: you open the source to your kernel, we can see how CreateProcess does things in Vista, we'll be able to make Cygwin work fine with it. Deal? ;-)

I know CreateProcess call should have worked. I am not in that team to give

If any dev would like to work with Vista dev team to get the product ready

First, try this:

If you're still seeing problems, the best thing to do would be to try to
debug it. If it comes down to a CreateProcess issue, then you'd be the
right man for helping the Cygwin community figure out what Windows needs
now. :-)
