Note that there's the cpan script also:
install a module:
$ cpan Foo::Bar
or
start the cpan shell:
$ cpan
To install a module, you'll have to have the make package installed
(by cygwin's setup.exe program; it's in the Devel category).
To install a module with xs components, you'll need at least the gcc
package.
