It works for me, with and without cygwin window.
The error message is very specific: failed to chdir to /home/defaut
Is there such a directory? What is /home? a local directory, a mount
point, .. ?
What platform are you on? What version of Cygwin?
What's the mechanism to translate postmaster@mydomain.org into
defaut@mydomain.org ?
Is there a user called "defaut"?
When a cygwin window is opened, is it under user "defaut"?
