Re: using syscall in cygwin?

Thank you for your response.
I just want to write code using my own open().
How can I implement open() without syscall() to make the system call?
Maybe I need also write my own syscall() which call glibc's open(), and link them staticly?
Is it reasonable?

Cheers,
Liu

Hi, all

Is it possible to compile the code using syscall in
Cygwin like this:

rc = syscall(SYS_open, filename, O_CREAT);

No.

Where is SYS_open etc declared? I can't find it.

That's because it doesn't exist.
