THIS is my config and i'm not able to get anonymous ftp access GRRRRRR
:'( :@
enabled Guest user in winXP ( no password )
deleted the entries ftp and anonymous from /etc/ftpusers
added the following line to the /etc/passwd file
ftp::501:513:U-Guest,S-1-5-21-1606980848-1677128483-1343024091-501:/home/ftp
:/bin/bash
created the home for ftp in /home/ftp
made the same tree structure as described by Andrew
and now:
ftp works with my account
no ftp access for anonymous or ftp user
no ftp access for users witout password
any other suggestion ??????
