umm my first thoughts when i saw this problem was - run out of memory bug
... needs to increase his limit in the registry...

map<string,string> is Not small ... compared to map<int,int> at least...
and theres going to be one for each thread...
lots of memory being used ...

but its only a guess ... ;)
