RE: Can not enter ', ", ~ or ` at bash prompt


Hi Peter,

Somehow these keys are configured as "dead" keys on your system. Pressing
the space bar after those keys should give you the desired character. I
don't remember how to change this behaviour right now :-(
I suggest searching the archives for "backtick", there was a discussion
going on some time ago.
