RE: mail client in Cywin

I've been killing myself to get a usable mail server out of Cygwin for the
last week. While I've gotten sendmail to compile I can make it run reliably
at all. Hell, I can't even get the beta's of bind which sports a cygwin port
to compile under cygwin. I ended up compiling it in Win32 and linking in the
libbind.dll, which I might add didn't work nearly so well as I had hoped.
*sigh*

Btw, this would be a good time to mention something I noticed. The patch
distributed with cygwin doesn't seem to recognized forward slashed in the
patch headers. In order to use some of the patches I found for cygwin I had
to sed all the +++ lines to replace "/"'s with "\"'s. A quick compile of the
current version of GNU patch showed that it does the exact same thing.

What is the best way to send out an email in a sh script?
Does anybody build sendmail in Cygwin?
Thanks,

-Mike
