No. I just updated today and tried it again, though, to test another
installation problem, though, and saw that your patch had been applied.

I am using Samba 2.07. DJ works in New Hampshire and I work in
Massachusetts. Corinna works in Germany. We all have different setups,
which is a good thing.
Regardless, this was just an observation about Earnie's problem. Earnie
was positing that there was a problem reinstalling over an old
installation. I was just saying that I'd done just that with no ill
effects.
I mentioned that I was testing samba installation only as a passing data
point.
