B20 under Win98: command line CR/LF problem

This problem has already been discussed in the:

Re: bash (I think) CR/LF problem?

thread. Someone also posted a base64 encoded dif file, but I couldn't figure
out how to use it.

Just to recap, bash seems to deliver 2 return keys for every one typed. This
means that, for instance, it is impossible to remove files using "rm -i". It
also means that you don't get a chance to type in your password when using
ssh.

This seems like a fairly huge bug to have in the product. Must be
encountered by *every* user. Is it fixed in the 20.1 release, or is their
some other downloadable solution to this problem?

Thanks,
Tyler
