There is no simple solution to get xdmcp working here. That's why I
suggested ssh. Installing and starting ssh should be quite simple.
Yes, I accepted that as a fact, and that the alternative way was to use
X11 forwarding displaying the remote applications. However, what I tried
first, was using rlogin to export the display, which still caused me
some trouble :;
