Well, kterm is not a KDE application.
It's just a Japanese capable xterm. ;-)
Thanks for the info anyway.

BTW, I've tried the newest TestServer-72, but made no difference.

I could send the kterm binary and/or source code that I'm using, if anybody
wants try it out.
