Error linking GLUT

I'm trying to compile Redbook examples, but ld is
unable to resolve glut calls. I'm trying to use
X11/GL, not Win32, is it possible?. I've installed ALL
packages (including XFree and Opengl). I've got
Windows XP SP1, videocard Radeon 9000, cygwin is
installed on c:\cygwin.
