bitmap problems with irix 6.5

Hi all,

I'm trying to use xfree as a replacement for exceed installations. It works well
in most cases, but one issue I've found is that in the irix system manager and
other applications some bitmaps are not displayed right like shown in the
appended screenshots.

I've found this behavior with all resolution modes x8, x16, x32 and all usable
engines (1,2,4).

Looking in the mailing list shows that this topic seems not to discussed ealier.

Does anyone have an idea, if this is an configuration problem or could be a bug
in the xserver ?
