RE: Help: OpenDx-Cygwin-Xfree86

Dear list,

I have followed the next steps to complete my
Cygwin-XFree86-OpenDx installation:

1. I downloaded and installed tsch 6.11.00-3 and
renamed tsch.exe to sch.exe.

2. Then I installed xpm-nox 4.1.0-1 (initially the
file CYGXPM-X4.DLL was not found).

Now, when I type dx at the $ prompt, I can see the
main menu of OpenDx. But when I try to open any
example file, the next message appears at the $
prompt:
---------------------------------------------------
$ dx
_dxl_ReadPortNumber: Bad file number
timeout waiting for response from DX
Internal error detected at "MacroDefinition.C":631.
No files needed to be saved.
---------------------------------------------------

And a window message:
---------------------------------------------------
"Unable to connect to dxexec"
---------------------------------------------------

Any suggestion would be appreciated,

Eduardo Machicao
