RE: startup scripts

Luc,

> It's only questions, nothing more!

I want answers, not questions. I have said many times before that I am not
a good X user. In fact, I am hardly an X user at all. I don't know X
policy, I don't know X startup scripts, I don't know a good window manager
(nor do I care to), and the list goes on.

If you want the startup scripts policy changed you are more than welcome to
write new startup scripts and supply patches to the documentation that
represents any changes made. You have to understand that there is probably
between 5 to 10 hours of work into the current startup scripts (remember the
documentation). The startup-scripts will only change if someone else spends
more time on them than Suhaib and I already have.

That means: I'm not interested in suggestions that people can come up with
in 10 minutes. I am only interested in real results that took someone at
least 10 hours to produce.

I am speaking in general, not only for the startup scripts.

I'm looking forward to seeing your work on the startup scripts,

Harold
