Re: window mode


I have found a way to run cygwin in Windowed mode.

You can configure the size of the Window with the XWin.exe.

For Example I am running at 1284x1024x16 in Windows.
I didn't want my Xwindow to take up the whole screen so I did this command

XWin.exe -screen 0 1024x728x16 -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0 
to make the Window size 1024x728.
So if your screen res is at 1024x728x16 you could use 800x600x16 or
640x480x16 or maybe any other size(though I have not test this).
